proverbs 16

2 All a man's ways seem innocent to him,
but motives are weighed by the LORD.

we can be doing good things. biblical things. everyone in the world might say that what youre doing is good. but if youre doing those good deeds for a motive other than to give glory to god, its worthless.

7 When a man's ways are pleasing to the LORD,
he makes even his enemies live at peace with him.

i have a question about this verse. when youre pleasing god, and in his plan, youre not gonna have a perfect life. how is this verse true?

32 Better a patient man than a warrior,
a man who controls his temper than one who takes a city.

just imagine if you can do both.

i like 32. that would be kewl if you could do both.
as for verse 7, i think what it means is that when you walk with the Lord, you will be living in a way that you don't cause conflicts with others. its not saying you won't have problems, but people won't be trying to bring you down.

keep this blog up. its good stuff.
